Lab Details:

This lab dives into one of the most common movement challenges faced by people living with neurological conditions: single‑sided weakness. But this lab goes far beyond symptom management. Together, we’ll explore the natural asymmetries all humans carry, how the brain organizes movement, and the practical strategies that create real, lasting change.

This is a deeply experiential day. You will feel your entire body in ways you didn’t realize you needed. You’ll learn to move beyond the idea of a “good side” and “bad side,” and instead tap into the power of brain remapping to show your nervous system new, exciting possibilities for movement.

By the end of the lab, you’ll understand that hemiparesis is so much more than a weaker and stronger side. You’ll leave with tools that unlock greater results for every client you work with – especially those navigating neurological conditions, chronic injuries, or long‑standing asymmetries.

You will also:

  • Feel what a true neurological shift in your own body means
  • Learn tools that can create instant change (yes, really)
  • Understand why your “strong side” may actually be limiting your “weak side”
  • Discover how asymmetry can become a source of opportunity rather than a barrier
  • Build confidence in identifying and addressing the root causes of single‑sided patterns
  • Walk away with strategies you can apply immediately with clients
